Sunday Morning Prayer Team
A team of a church elder and a congregation member are available after each morning worship service to pray with those who desire prayer for personal concerns or joys. If you would like to serve as a team member, contact the office. Training is available.
Food MinistriesOur Food Pantry is open every Tuesday evening. Coordinated by the deacons and staffed by volunteers, the pantry contains dry goods, canned goods, frozen meat, and bread and personal care items. Referrals are taken by Baxter Community Center.
A food truck comes to Sherman Street’s parking lot on one Saturday of most months. All who are in need of food are welcome. A sign announcing the Food Truck is placed in front of the church on weeks it will be there. Call the church office (616-452-7034) for more details. |
