Sunday morning worship is a great way to get to know the heart of Sherman Street Church. But if you really want to get to know the people of Sherman Street, there are many ways to get connected.
Adults
Adults can get involved in small groups, Bible studies, a Friendship group for people with cognitive impairments, the social justice committee, and more. Learn more.
YouthMiddle and high school youth gather for weekly youth group meetings and monthly outings. Learn more.
ChildrenKids are an integral and important part of Sherman Street church, starting with nursery for infants and toddlers, to Praise and Play, Children’s Worship, and church school. Learn more.
Sherman 101If you want to learn more about the history, mission, and quirks of Sherman Street Church, you’re invited to attend a one-hour “no strings attached” intro to Sherman Street session. Please contact the church office to find out when the next class is scheduled.

Sunday Morning Prayer Team
A team of a church elder and a congregation member are available after each morning worship service to pray with those who desire prayer for personal concerns or joys. If you would like to serve as a team member, contact the office. Training is available.
Food TruckThe Feeding America food truck comes to Sherman Street’s parking lot on the third Saturday of the month (January through October). All who are in need of food are welcome. Call the church office (616-452-7034) for more details.
