YOUTH.2

Church School (Grades 3-6)

Church School meets on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:20-10:20 am. After a time of learning, which is divided by grade, all students come together for faith sharing to conclude the hour. During the year, children participate in activities such as making banners for worship, visiting members in their homes, and acting in the annual Christmas Program.

Wednesday Night Kids Club (Grades 3-6)

Wednesday Night Kids Club meets from 6:30-8 pm most Wednesdays during the school year (see the calendar for details). Meetings include a Bible lesson and activity or an outing. Clay pens, lanyards, ArtPrize, ice skating, crazy games, career night, and family dinners are all part of the fun. The annual Pinewood Derby race in the winter and Rocket Launching in the spring are also highlights!

SHOCKS (Grades 7 & 8)

This group meets on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:20-10:20 in the Upper Room for faith related discussion and study. Twice a month, SHOCKS meets on Sunday evening as well for media nights, wild games and other fun activities. SHOCKS stands for “Students Hanging Out Considering Kingdom Service.”

Q & A (Grades 9-12)

High school students meet for Q&A on Sunday mornings throughout the school year from 9:20-10:20 am. Students study the Questions and Answers of faith using the creeds and confessions of the church.

High School Youth Group (Grades 9-12)

HSYG meets on Sunday evenings at 6 pm during the school year. Students meet for faith lessons, fun games, outrageous outings and small group events. Each year a summer mission trip is planned, and fundraisers (Chili Cookoff!) are held to offset the costs of the trip.
